Nokia G60 5G pops up with Android 14

After the releases of Nokia X30 and Nokia G42, the Nokia G60 5G has appeared on Geekbench with Android 14. The scores are as expected. The G50 scored 913 points on a single-core and 1942 points on a multi-core test.

This suggests that Nokia Mobile will be rolling out the current Android OS version to multiple devices, which is great for the users of those phones but presents a rather challenging task to manage since all those devices have to be tested. Once the update is released, I hope that we won’t be having software issues.

While I applaud the efforts of Nokia Mobile, this also indicates that Nokia Mobile is acknowledging its delay in implementing the A14 update. The number of tested phones does support my previous assumptions that the update will be released before MWC 2024, which is just a month and a half away.
