Nokia G20 appears on the Indian Nokia Mobile website

Nokia G20 on Nokia Mobile’s Indian website

The most recent launch event by Nokia Mobile was in April, and since then, a few more Nokia phones have arrived globally. Three more devices are in the pipeline, but the Indian market has not seen any new devices from Nokia Mobile’s end for over three and a half months.

Well, the company updated its Indian website today and added the Nokia G20 to the list of smartphones and a banner on the home page that reads, “Nokia G20 is here.” The smartphone is not really “here” but the poster hints at a sooner launch. It is currently the flag-bearer of the Nokia G series. Nokia G20 packs a 48 MP quad camera set up at the back, and OZO Audio helps it record spatial sound during shooting videos.

Inside, it houses MediaTek’s Helio G35 platform and a 5050 mAh battery that can keep the phone alive for up to three days on a single charge. The smartphone operates on Android 11 and will get three years of monthly security patches and two years of Android OS upgrades. Nokia G20 comes in two Nordic-inspired colors, Night and Glacier, with two memory configurations, 4/64 GB and 4/128 GB.

Apart from Nokia G20, BIS has also confirmed the Indian arrival of the Nokia G10, Nokia 110 4G, and an unannounced smartphone with the model number TA-1366. Additionally, the SAR page on the company’s site suggests that Nokia X20, Nokia X10, and Nokia C20 could also head to the country.

As of now, we have not heard anything about the launch from Nokia Mobile India, but we can expect them to tease the devices soon on its social media channels.
