#Nokia Steel HR coming this Fall; in #India via online partner

This month Nokia announced that it’s ready to enter the “Digital Health” market in her own name, or better to say using the Nokia brand on re-branded Withings products. They had a somewhat rough start with the new Nokia Health Mate app, but the general reaction was mostly positive about this news. Of course, as always, we had something to say about the font of the logo Nokia uses on its (smart)watches, but most agree that the new font fits better to the overall look of the watch.

A little disappointing was the fact that Nokia Steel HR, world’s first analogue smartwatch and best what Nokia offers, isn’t available till Fall (Autum) this year. Digit.in found out on Chinese MWC, that is taking place right now, that Nokia plans to launch the watch in India later this year, and probably via an exclusive online partnership, just like with the Nokia 6, that’s available to pre-order from Amazon India. Amazon is also taking pre-orders for the 6 in the U.S., starting $179 (€157), including the Copper version.

Some new Nokia Health equipment, like scales, Steel or Home, can be purchased right now via the official Nokia web store, or via partners.

Thanks Tarun for the tip. 🙂
