HMD Revealing the Fusion Device at IFA

Today, HMD announced via Discord that the result of their Fusion project will be unveiled at the IFA event. IFA 2024, the world’s largest consumer electronics show, will take place from September 6 to September 10 in Berlin, Germany.

We can likely expect a device that will complement those smart outfits. This project has been one of HMD’s best-kept secrets, with very few leaks appearing online. So far, only the official renders have been released by HMD—no other details.

HMD has launched a Fusion development toolkit and some renders of the possible smart outfits, but nothing more than this. The interesting thing is that those outfits will be able to extend the possibilities of HMD Fusion, like wireless charging, extra battery, telescopic camera or infrared scanner, and addition of game controllers…

Not even Smashx_60 managed to leak a lot about the Fusion and its specs. Perhaps HMD has finally caught that leakster.
