Nokia TA-1616 also heading to China
While new Nokia smartphones might not be coming to the market, except for the recolored Nokia G22, HMD is introducing a variety of feature phones. GSMChina has revealed that 17 Nokia devices are preparing to be announced, with authorities currently issuing the necessary certificates for their release.
Recently, two feature phone models were certified in China: TA-1617 and TA-1619. Now, based on the 3C Certification, it seems that the Chinese market will soon see a third feature phone model. Nokia TA-1616 has just received certification from 3C, possibly indicating it as a variant of a previously seen device, TA-1617.
The certificate revealed nothing new about the devices except that HMD might launch them soon.
Additionally, HMD is gearing up to launch a new Nokia classic, the Nokia 3210, and we may also see new versions of Nokia 110 4G (2024), Nokia 225 4G, and a completely new device, Nokia 235 4G. Only the revised versions may be introduced to the Chinese market, but it would be beneficial for HMD to release all of them.
