HMD to launch two featurephones in China

HMD wasn’t actively pushing its smartphones in the Chinese market, but feature phones have been present there and are quite popular. HMD is now planning to bring two new Nokia feature phones to the Chinese market, according to the certificates the two devices received.

The certificates have unveiled the codenames and some hardware specifications, clearly showing what the devices will entail. Additionally, the codenames TA-1617 and TA-1619, which received certification, are part of the group of 17 devices revealed by GSM China in February. Both devices are 4G-capable feature phones, differing in dimensions, weight, and screen size. The TA-1617 will be heavier at 92 grams, with a larger screen measuring 2.8 inches, and dimensions that might be slightly larger but the device will be thinner.

 

Here are the specs of Nokia TA-1617 and TA-1619.

The larger model will be a classic Nokia phone without a rear camera.

The certificate didn’t reveal the photos, nor the date of announcement. However, it seems to me that both will be known soon.
