Human Mobile Devices website seems to be active and revealing

The new HMD page has started taking over the old Nokia.com/phones website in some local markets, while the global one on HMD.com is still inactive. The site features a more aggressive design, dominated by black and white, although other colours are present. Perhaps HMD is signalling the comeback of the Lumia colour palette from 12 years ago. Also, it seems to me that polycarbonate might also be coming back (according to the models in the renders).

In any case, a new YouTube video on HMD.com’s YouTube profile explains the transition from Nokia Mobile to HMD or Human Mobile Devices, the new player in the phone market. HMD is advertised as the largest European phone manufacturer, which might be true. Additionally, the video showcases a new design that could be used in their upcoming devices. The design is based on former Lumia devices, but the camera module’s position suggests that ODM is in charge of mass production.

Regardless, everything will be official tomorrow, but today, head to Nokia.com/phones and see what tomorrow will bring.

A 3310 with 5G does sound great!

Cheers to nloop for spotting this!
