Nokia Mobile to release new portable speaker soon
Nokia SP -102 is the new portable Bluetooth speaker from Nokia that Nokia Mobile announced in July prematurely. The speaker is most likely a new version of the first speaker Nokia Mobile launched in 2021. The design has changed a bit and the speaker is now slightly taller than the original one.
According to the published FCC documents, the Nokia SP -102 will be equipped with a 1200 mAh battery, which should be enough for 10 hours of music playback. The external photos show that the speaker will be charged via USB-C, which is good since this will be the port of choice in the EU.
There’s also a lanyard hole on the front, and a 3.5mm headphone jack and microSD card port on the back, which is handy if you are still an old-school guy and shop your music in mp3 files. These ports are covered with a rubber cover, which suggests that the speaker has some IP rating.
Now it only remains to see if the audio quality will be good. IFA2022 will surely be interesting!
