Quite a few certifications and leaks have emerged in the last few weeks, and they all hint at a sooner launch of at least three Nokia smartphones, namely, Nokia G21, Nokia G11, and Nokia C21, at the global level. However, that is not all as a new Nokia tablet, and 15 variants of upcoming Nokia phones (not necessarily 15 different phones) have grabbed BIS (India), EEC (Russia), Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi certifications.

In India, two unreleased Nokia phone variants with the models TA-1416 and TA-1423 were registered on the BIS portal in December 2021. At first, Padget Electronics, a subsidiary of Dixon Technologies, was picked to produce the device(s) in its Gautam Buddha Nagar facility.

These could be new smartphone(s) since the Nokia feature phones for India are only made by Bharat FIH (previously Rising Stars Mobile). However, both the variants were re-registered under Bharat FIH last month. (Via: LoveNokia)

The next bunch of certifications is from Russia through EEC. Alongside the Nokia G11 (TA-1401) and Nokia G21 (TA-1405, TA-1418), seven unknown Nokia phone variants, namely, TA-1421, TA-1424, TA-1428, TA-1432, TA-1433, TA-1441, and TA-1468, were authorized in November and December 2021.

Recently, four more phone models (TA-1450, TA-1469, TA-1477, and TA-1479) and Nokia Mobile’s second tablet, after Nokia T20, with the model numbers TA-1457 and TA-1472 also showed up on the certification site.

Next up is another new Nokia smartphone (TA-1484) with Android 12 and support for 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi that grabbed the Wi-Fi certification in January 2022. As per its Bluetooth certification, the device might be similar to Nokia C100 (N152DL/TA-1520) and Nokia C200 (N151DL). It will support Bluetooth 5 and have a MediaTek processor.

Also, an unannounced Nokia feature phone with the model TA-1419, which has not been talked about yet, bagged the Bluetooth certification back in Q4 2021. Given that the device is in a list with the likes of Nokia 8110 4G, 2720 Flip, 800 Tough, 6300 4G, 8000 4G, and 2720 V Flip, it will possibly have 4G connectivity as well. The device supports Bluetooth 4 and has a Qualcomm CPU.

The certifications, especially the Russian certifications, appear months before the official announcements. So, all of these devices may not necessarily arrive in the coming months. The only devices that seem to hit the shelves soon are the Nokia G11 and Nokia G21 for the global markets and Nokia C100 and Nokia 2760 Flip for the US.
