After relaunching the Nokia 6310 from the past with a modern look, which was a few months ago, Nokia Mobile is all set to revive one more device as a part of the Originals series. As first revealed by @evleaks, it’s the Nokia 2760 back from 2007, which is due for a soon announcement. The new Nokia 2760 Flip will be the company’s first phone based on KaiOS 3.

Apart from the fact that both are flip phones with keypads, there is not much commonality among the designs of the old and the new 2760 Flip. On the other hand, the new one, with a narrower hinge and straight edges at the top and bottom, seems to inherit a lot from the 2019’s Nokia 2720 Flip. A noticeable difference is the placement of the rear camera and the flash within a horizontal module at the front.

Since none of the pictures show the device from the front, it cannot be confirmed if there is a secondary screen or not. Even the device sketch in the user guide does not show a secondary display. Anyway, the flip phone has volume buttons, an SOS call button, and a USB connector for charging and transferring files to its right. There is a 3.5 mm headset connector on the left side, and the loudspeaker is at the back.

The Nokia 2760 Flip, which is code-named after the Canadian singer/artist The Weeknd and has the model number N139DL/TA-1398, measures 4.33″ x 2.28″ x 0.76″ (109 x 57 x 19 mm) and weighs 4.8 ounces (136 g). It features a 320 x 240 p display, a 5 MP rear camera, a 1450 mAh battery, 4 GB of internal storage, and expandable storage of up to 32 GB using a microSD card. There is a single SIM card slot that supports LTE/4G. Additionally, it also supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Below are a few screenshots of the UI on the device:

For now, the Nokia 2760 Flip seems to be an exclusive device made for the US MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) TracFone and its subsidiaries, which is also why there is a TracFone logo at the back. So, we will have to wait and see if it will ever go global.
