Nokia C30 and Nokia 110 4G move a step closer to Indian launch
|
Nokia Mobile has been missing out on the action in India for a long time now, but it is slowly trying to get things back on track as it announced the Nokia G20 and is pepping up to launch more phones if we go by the BIS certifications. However, I would still want the company to improve on the availability timeline of devices in the country because some phones will be arriving after more than three months since the global announcements.
Getting back into the topic, two of the upcoming phones are now closer than ever to their launch in India. Nokia 110 4G is one such device as Nokia Mobile has now added it to the Indian site. Apart from the catchy and vibrant colors, this new version of the Nokia 110 brings 4G VoLTE connectivity. For ease of usage, the phone gets large-sized buttons and an audio Readout feature.
But that is not all. You will also get a back camera, torch, internet access, wireless FM radio, video player, MP3 player, “3-in-1 speaker”, and games. Nokia Mobile claims a standby time of up to 12 days and a talk time of 5 hours with an active 4G SIM card. Nokia 110 4G costs 810.000 ₫ (₹2620) in Vietnam and 2990 ₽ (₹2990) in Russia. So, its price should be similar in India, but will not be any less than ₹2400.
Nokia C30 (TA-1345) is the next smartphone that has received the green signal from BIS for the Indian launch. It is the sixth Nokia phone that Padget Electronics will be producing in its Noida facility. Although the Nokia C30 has been out in the public eye for almost three months, Nokia Mobile has not announced it globally yet. As per the retailers, the phone will bring a 6.82-inch FHD+ display and a 6000 mAh battery.
Those specifications are better than even what the Nokia G20 brings to the table. Other than that, the C30 gets a dual rear camera setup, including a 13 MP camera, while there is a 5 MP front camera. Inside, it has a 1.6 GHz octa-core Unisoc processor. The device operates on Android 11 and will have 2/32 GB and 3/64 GB memory variants. Nokia C30 will be available in Green and White colours.
With that, the Indian market is now expected to get eight new Nokia phones in the coming weeks or months. The list includes the Nokia 110 4G, Nokia 6310, Nokia C01 Plus, Nokia C30, Nokia G10, Nokia X10, Nokia X20, and Nokia TA-1366 (possibly C20 Plus), but their availability date remains unknown.
