Lately, we have been seeing a lot about the upcoming Nokia phones, and seems that the launch of these devices is not very far since the Russian retailers have revealed the name and some specifications of two unannounced Nokia 4G feature phones and a smartphone.
The listings reveal that Nokia Mobile will soon launch the 4G variants of its most affordable feature phones, Nokia 105 and Nokia 110. Alongside, it will also release the Nokia C01 Plus.
Starting with the Nokia C01 Plus that will be available in Blue color. The dual SIM 4G device with the model number TA-1383 will be coming with a 5.45-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Backed by an octa-core processor (4 x 1.6 GHz, 4 x 1.2 GHz) and a 3000 mAh battery, the phone will run on Android 11 Go and will have 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of ROM (expandable up to 128 GB).
Nokia C01 Plus equips 5 MP front and rear cameras. The device has a micro-USB port and supports Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/AGPS, and possibly 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Proximity, Accelerometer, and Ambient Light sensors are present as well. Nokia C01 Plus seems to be the successor of last year’s Nokia C1 Plus.
Apart from the difference in the Android version, and an increase in the number of cores in the processor and battery size by 500 mAh, both the phones look pretty much the same. And even after a big revamp of the naming scheme of Nokia smartphones, the names of the devices still remain confusing and the “Plus” word is there as well (Nokia C01 Plus, Nokia C1 Plus)!
Then, there is the Nokia 110 4G (TA-1386) and Nokia 105 4G (TA-1378). The devices share most of the specifications. The dual SIM 4G feature phones house a 1.8-inch, precisely a 1.77-inch screen, 48 MB of RAM, 128 MB of internal storage (expandable up to 32 GB in Nokia 110 4G), and a 1020 mAh battery. Nokia 110 4G will be available in Aqua and Black colors, while Nokia 105 4G in Black and Blue colors. The devices operate on Series 30+ OS.
Back in April, TENAA also posted pictures of two Nokia branded 4G feature phones carrying the model numbers TA-1373 and TA-1389. The specifications by TENAA match with those provided by the retailers, which means the Nokia 110 4G and Nokia 105 4G are already out in the public eye. The features that differ both the feature phones are the keypad design and the presence of a rear camera in the Nokia 110 4G.
The model numbers of Nokia C01 Plus (TA-1383), Nokia 110 4G (TA-1386), and Nokia 105 4G (TA-1378) were certified in Russia about three months ago. Also, the names of the new 4G feature phones were unveiled in one of the Russian government portals on May 18. The portal states that the feature phones are made by Fushan Technology, which is Foxconn’s, or specifically, FIH Mobile’s Vietnam facility.
Nokia C01 Plus will also be available in Purple color.
