Four months have passed and the Android 11 update is slowly showing up on devices. While Pixel phones got it first, many expected that Android One devices will be the next in line, but some regular manufacturers beat Google and released the latest Android version for its devices.
Many are not happy with not getting Android 11 in the year when it was announced and released, but that might be for the best since Pixel owners and Mi A3 owners are experiencing bugs after the installation. It seems that the latest version of Android is a bit buggy, so the manufacturers are taking their time with the releases. Nokia Mobile is among those who are waiting for the release but are testing Android 11 on their latest devices.
After Nokia 8.3 5G, Nokia 5.3 and Nokia 8.1 were spotted on Geekbench running Android. Tests were done on the last days of 2020, which means that the updates could be ready for the release somewhere in January 2021, as planned in the Update Roadmap plan posted by Nokia Mobile.
Hopefully, Nokia devices won’t be having the same issues as Xiaomi Mi A3 or Pixel phones.
