Nokia 8.3 5G appears on the European market with 7-9 days delivery time

In March 2020, Nokia Mobile announced its first 5G smartphone, the Nokia 8.3 5G, and we got to virtually feast our eyes on the device. It was mentioned that the device will be available sometime during this Summer. Soon after the announcement, the device went up for pre-orders on Clove UK with stock due in July, but the date was pushed back to September. In mid-June, Galaxus Switzerland also listed the device with sales slated to start from September 15. Recently, Nokia Mobile announced that the device will be available in the US post-mid-September. Such has been its tale till now and we have not seen the device on the market yet.

However, it seems that finally we will see the device this month. The e-commerce site Proshop has listed both the 6GB and 8GB RAM variants of the Nokia 8.3 5G in around seven countries with a delivery date ranging between 7 to 11 days from now. Usually, Proshop mentions the availability of a product with a tick mark if it is in stock else it places a minus symbol.

For example, in Sweden, the Charcoal colored Nokia 5.3 (4GB) is in stock with scheduled delivery within 2 days, however, the one in Sand color is not in-stock, but you can buy it with an uncommitted delivery timeline. Coming back to the Nokia 8.3 5G, though there is a minus mark, you can still place an order with delivery in 7 to 8 days.

• Sweden: 6GB – SEK 6490 (€629), 8GB – SEK 7490 (€726)

Also, over 20 retailers in Denmark, Finland, Germany, and Sweden have updated the Nokia 8.3 5G pages on their site. Their current listings show that the 8GB RAM variant (lowest priced at €630) is set to be available starting August 11, and the 6GB RAM variant (lowest priced at €591) from August 18.

Many of us would have expected the price to drop a bit, but as per Proshop and retailer sites, it remains more or less the same for both the variants, when compared to the global average retail price announced at the time of launch, which is €599 for 6GB/64GB (RAM/ROM) and €649 for 8GB/128GB.

Anyways, the Nokia 8.3 5G Clear Case (CC-183) has also popped up on more than 10 retailer sites with availability starting August 21. The lowest price is set at €7.54. With all these listings coming up, hopefully we will see the device in the stores this month.
