More than 3 months passed since the Nokia 8.3 5G, the first 5G smartphone from Nokia Mobile, was announced. Nokia 8.3 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G platform and comes as a future-proofed 5G device, as it features the highest number of 5G new radio bands with support for both standalone and non-standalone 5G networks.
It also comes equipped with the debuting ZEISS Cinema effects, PureView (as Nokia Mobile mentions on its site) quad camera with ZEISS Optics, and OZO audio to improve the overall multimedia functionality.
Now, the device has been added by Clove UK on its site for pre-orders. As they mention, the 6GB/64GB (RAM/ROM) Dual SIM variant in Polar Night color will cost £499.98 ($615.50, €547.26, ₹ 46,523), which is a bit lower in comparison to the global average retail price of 6GB/64GB variant, which is €599 (₹ 50880, $674), while that of the 8GB/128GB variant is €649 (₹ 55130, $730) . The most interesting bit here is the availability date. They mention that the stock of the device is due in July, though the exact date is yet to be disclosed.
Meanwhile, the Nokia 8.3 5G global version showed up on Geekbench. In early June, a US version of the Nokia 8.3 5G was also spotted on Geekbench. The scores of the global version are a bit better than that of the US version. You can check the single-core score and multi-core score of both the versions below.
Hopefully, with the start of pre-orders on Clove UK, the Nokia 8.3 5G will also make its way into the other countries soon. We can also expect the device in other countries to be priced similar to that on Clove UK.
Update: At the time of writing this article, the availability date on Clove UK was mentioned as “stock due in July”, but Clove UK has changed it. Now, they have mentioned it as “First Stock due September“, which kind of coincides with the availability date mentioned by Galaxus Switzerland (September 15). That probably means we will have to wait for two more months, or until some other listing pops up in some other country with an availability date earlier than September. However, the device is still up for pre-orders on Clove UK.
