Video: First unboxing and hands-on of Nokia 150 (2020)

Nokia Mobile globally announced the Nokia 150 (2020) in May. Now, it seems that the device is already hitting the retail stores in Vietnam, because the first unboxing and hands-on video comes from there (a retail store), being uploaded about a week ago. There are also two more such videos coming from Vietnam. You must have already noticed, that the box design has changed with the arrival of the new phones this year in March.

The box looks simple and clean with just the brand name, model name, and the photo of the phone. Though, the red-colored model is pictured on the box, the model that comes out of the box is the black-colored. And, many of us would like to see the red one as shown on the box, or better, the cyan-colored. Anyway, on opening the box, you will find the device wrapped around a plastic cover. On opening the sections inside the box, you will find the regulars, a 1020 mAh battery, a micro USB charger, a quick start guide, and that is it, nothing else comes out of it.

The shiny black area surrounding the screen and the top buttons, and the big number cum alphabet keypads stand out as the most notable things at first sight. Nokia 150 does look a bit thicker, and obviously, the design factor is different from the previously held feature phones by HMD Global. The device comes equipped with a VGA camera and a flash at the back. The 3.5 mm headphone jack and the charging port are at the top. The device has a 2.4″ QVGA screen, 4 MB of RAM, wireless FM radio, Bluetooth, and MP3 player.

However, to click photos and to store your songs, you will need a microSD card as the phone has only 4 MB of internal memory. You also get separate slots for two Mini-SIM cards and a microSD card (up to 32 GB). The device is powered by the Series 30+ OS platform, and comes with about four pre-loaded games, including the Snake Xenzia. Unfortunately, the ones who did the unboxing did not insert a microSD card, and that’s why we cannot see the glimpse of the camera taking photos, although, being a VGA camera, we cannot expect much.
