Nokia 125 (TA-1253) certified in China
|Nokia TA-1253 or the Nokia 125 just popped up on Chinese TENAA pages. The device is made in a Vietnam factory where all the Nokia feature phones are usually made. TENAA didn’t reveal the photos or the specs yet, but from previous leaks, we know that Nokia 125 will be coming as a Dual SIM device, and the price will be set at €36 in some European markets. This certification does suggest that Nokia 125 will be launched in China too, and it seems to me that Nokia Mobile is trying to dominate the feature phone market there.
Nokia Mobile launched Nokia 2720 Flip and Nokia 800 Tough, and just recently the Nokia 220 4G, and they are planning to launch Nokia 125 as well.
They for sure will be the strong player in China, but smartphones are also an important part of their portfolio, and now I wonder what is the smartphone strategy for the Chinese market? Maybe a 4G version of the Nokia 8.3?
