AOSMark updated its list of Android OS updates releases from the phone manufacturers. The scores that shape the list show the average number of pushed OS updates by the Android phone manufacturers. Nokia used to be on the top of the list, which is nothings strange since Nokia Mobile is launching Android smartphones that are pure, secure, and up to date. Anyway, with the launch of Nokia 2.3, 2.2, 3.2, 4.2, 7.2, and many others that never received the latest update, Nokia’s score went down, which ensured the 8th place.
Anyway, after the release of Android 10 for Nokia 4.2, 7 Plus, 9 PureView, 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus and 7.1, Nokia’s AOSMark improved a bit, and the brand climbed to 6th place with the score of 1.5. We know that the score will go up in the near future, since not so many manufacturers are willing to push at least three big OS updates across the portfolio, so we can expect to see Nokia on the very top of the list.
Interestingly, Nokia 6 and Nokia 3 are the real legends of the Android OS updates. With 4 major OS updates, those two Nokia veterans are among the 20 most updated phones, next to the Google Pixel and One Plus phones.
