Nokia 4G feature phone TA-1056 passed FCC

American FCC agency certified a new variant of an upcoming Nokia 4G feature phone. The device in question goes under the model number TA-1056, and is described as a (Dual SIM) variant of Nokia TA-1047 we saw passing FCC and Bluetooth SIG (together with other variants of the device).

The FCC files don’t reveal anything new about the device. We already know the phone’s dimensions (133mm x 68mm), that it supports 4G, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, WiFi and VoLTE, and runs an OS that isn’t Android, YunOS or S30/Feature OS. Another variant of this device, Nokia TA-1060 also passed FCC.

The passage of FCC certification process indicates that we might soon see this device announced. Maybe at MWC next month?
