Nokia demonstrates how 4.9G technology can reduce network latency as if it is 5G already #MWCS17

5G networks are just around the corner but not everything is still ready for its deployment. There are numerous standards to be defined but Nokia is doing much with its 4.9G technology to ease up the transition for operators toward the future networks. In MWC that started in Shanghai, Nokia will be demonstrating the high performance 4G technology, or 4.9G technology that has the latency of less than 2 milliseconds which is enough for usage of autonomous robots and vehicles. This is managed by shortening the transmission intervals by 86%. This networks can be used trough Nokia’s AirScale base stations that are ready now, and that will help operators transition more quickly to 5G standards when they are ready.

With Nokia you can already experience the future of networks. Read more here.
