Florian Seiche, CEO of HMD Global greetedĀ the crowd and shared with the world that HMD is now one of the 5 biggest brands in UK. I am glad that Florian mentioned great Nokia community that is actively shaping Nokia Mobile and their products.
Florian mentioned that latest additions to Nokia smartphone family, Nokia 6.1 Plus and 5.1 plus were tremendous hit, especially in India where Nokia 6.1 Plus was sold out quickly every time a new shipment came to the stores.
Florian passed the stage to Juho Sarvikas who will announce new Nokia smartphone. Juho repeated once again the main goals that Nokia Mobile is trying to reach. He then spoke about Nokia 7 Plus which is one of the best devices Nokia announced in the past year.
And yes, new Nokia phone is Nokia 7.1, a smartphone that will bring new Zeiss camera technology with innovative imaging experience.
Nokia 7 has a notch, but lets start with the body. It has frame made ofĀ aluminum 6000. It will come in Gloss Midnight Blue and Gloss Steel with copper accent.
It has new Zeiss dual camera setup, with 12 MP sensor with 1.2 um pixels which is helped by 5 MP camera. It has face detection auto focus that mimics the human eye so photos should be crisper and sharper. HMD also improved the HDR algorithm that will also help create better shots. new Nokia 7 comes with AI and improved dual sight, or Bothie. Ä
The best upgrade of Nokia 7 is the full HD 5.84 inch display that brings the PureDisplay technology once more to the Nokia phone. This means that you’ll be watching all the content in HDR, and you’ll be able to changeĀ some parameters of the picture. It will also have better sun readability.
Nokia 7 will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636, and it will be part of AndroidOne which means it will come to the stores with latest Android Pie. Nokia 7 will have all the new options that Android Pie is offering like new Google Wellbeing and other features.
Juho also announced new Nokia branded earphones, or should I say Nokia True Wireless Earpods that weigh only 5 grams per pod. They are sweat and splash proof. They will cost 129ā¬.
Nokia Pro wireless earphones will have up to 10 hours of play time. They will cost 69ā¬.
Preorders for Nokia 7 will start tomorrow (October 5th) for Europe, and a bit later for the rest of the world. The price will be ā¬299 to ā¬349 what will depend on the market. The UK citizens will be able to buy Nokia 7 onĀ 17th of October in all major stores (Vodafone, EE, Carephone Warehouse) for 299 pounds.
