Abdulla Zaki, better known as Mr Nokia on YouTube, is back with another great dose of nostalgia. In his latest episode of the Inspirations series, he dives deep into one of Nokia’s most iconic smartphones, the Nokia N8.
Released in 2010, the Nokia N8 was positioned as Nokia’s ultimate multimedia flagship. It packed serious hardware, including a groundbreaking 12 MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics, HDMI output, and a beautiful AMOLED display. However, despite all the right tools for success, the N8 initially struggled due to its flawed Symbian^3 software.
Thankfully, things turned around with the introduction of Symbian Belle, which unlocked the full potential of this powerful device, making it an even stronger contender in the smartphone market of its time.

I do agree with Abdulla’s choices of features that Nokia N8 could offer to build a perfect modern smartphone. Manufacturers of today are not bold enough to bring things Nokia did back than in a modern device. being afrad of potential failure is bringing us to a dull phones we have today. Just check out Skyline. It had a potential of NOkia N8 which was just partially used. What do you think?
