HMD’s Budget phones and smarter accessories incoming

Well-known leakster smashx_60 has revealed a fresh wave of upcoming HMD devices and accessories, giving us a peek into the brand’s future direction. The new HMD Pulse 2 series includes three models—Pulse 2, Pulse 2+, and Pulse 2 Pro—all powered by the modest Unisoc T610 chipset. The specs aren’t groundbreaking, but the Pulse 2 Pro does bring a smoother 120Hz display and a rare 50MP selfie cam.

What really caught our attention, though, are the new accessories. The HMD Amped Power 10 and Power 20 power banks come with Qi2 wireless charging, USB-C and USB-A ports, and offer 10,000 mAh and 20,000 mAh capacities respectively—making them perfect for charging your Skyline or XR21 on the go.

There’s also the HMD Pills Bud earbuds, featuring 10mm graphene drivers, IPX7 water resistance, and Bluetooth 5.2. With a 500mAh case and fun color options like black, cyan, and magenta, these buds might finally bring some fun and function to HMD’s audio range.

Let’s hope the accessories match the promising specs with equally good real-world performance. It would be cool of HMD could insert AMPED buds inside those powerbanks.
