HMD Global to Release Deluxe Edition of Atlas Phone

HMD Global is reportedly preparing to launch another version of its entry-level Pulse phone, potentially for an unknown market or even a global release.

HMD Global is releasing a deluxe edition of the Pulse phone, featuring a distinctive back cover pattern. This model is called the HMD Ridge, according to the source. It resembles the previously leaked US exclusive Atlas and might even be its deluxe version, featuring a distinctive back cover pattern. The phone might also be aimed at the US market, especially since it includes a Snapdragon SoC.

Key specifications include a 6.64″ FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, a Snapdragon 480+ 5G chipset, a 50MP main camera, and an 8MP selfie camera.

It also offers 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery. The device features Gorilla Glass 3 on the back of a plastic frame, which will make it a bit glossy. Additionally, this device might undergo extensive drop testing. Pricing and availability details remain unknown, but HMD Global’s social media might leak that information too.
