HMD Rolls Out Security Updates for Nokia G60 & Fusion

HMD has released a new security patch for the Nokia G60 5G. The installation went smoothly, and I haven’t encountered any issues since the device miraculously updated itself last November after being stuck on the July patch.

The update is 62.36 MB, so updating won’t use much of your data plan.

The Fusion device also received a December patch (66.57 MB), which is a month ahead of the Skyline, still running the November patch. However, that’s expected since HMD provides quarterly updates for its new range of devices—perhaps for the best.

Additionally, someone managed to update their Skyline to Android 15. However, some (including myself) tried using a VPN set to Finland, but that method didn’t work. So, we’ll have to wait a bit longer for HMD to release Android 15 globally.
