HMD Pulse Pro Set for a Refresh

It seems HMD is preparing to upgrade its popular entry-level phone, the HMD Pulse Pro. The new model, HMD Pulse2 Pro, is expected to feature similar specs but with a more powerful processor.

Leakster Smashx_60 revealed that the phone will use the UNISOC T612 SoC, which should enhance its performance. The current model runs T606 SoC.

The design won’t change that much except maybe the colours and some specific patterns used on the back. Check out the specs.

HMD is collaborating closely with UNISOC on processor development, though we hope they’ll also improve image processing, as the main camera on the current Pulse Pro lacks standout quality.

The phone will most likely be used for HMD’s partnership with the African company M-KOPA.
