Nokia 108 4G Feature Phone launched in China

HMD Global continues to expand its feature phone lineup in China with the Nokia 108 4G. This budget-friendly device boasts a 2.4-inch LCD screen, a removable 1450 mAh battery, and 4G VoLTE connectivity.

Despite lacking a camera, the Nokia 108 4G offers a robust set of features typical for a feature phone. These include a T9 keyboard, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an LED flashlight. Moreover, the phone is designed for user-friendliness with its large fonts and buttons. It will be available in black, pink, and blue.

The Nokia 108 4G is currently available for presale in China at a price of ¥259.00 (approximately €33.50). However, its availability outside of China remains uncertain.

Pricing and Availability:

  • Presale price: ¥259.00 (approximately €33.50)
  • Estimated final price: ¥239.00 (approximately €30.50)
  • Presale period: October 17th to 18th
  • Payment deadline: October 17th to 18th

HMD Global’s continued focus on the Chinese market with the Nokia 108 4G demonstrates its commitment to the Nokia brand’s legacy. While the Nokia brand may have faded from the smartphone landscape, it remains a strong force in the feature phone market, especially in regions like China and India. Unfortunately, the last Nokia feature phone like this was the Nokia 105 and it seems that its 4G version won’t be coming since HMD is slowly removing the Nokia logo from the feature phones here in the EU.
