PINK HMD BARBIE PHONE ENTERS TENAA

Earlier this year, Human Mobile Devices (HMD) and Mattel, the creator of Barbie, have announced plans and collaboration to create products for the Barbie brand with elaborate events and influencers invited. It seems like the plan is moving forward as a new leak suggests a Barbie-themed phone under the HMD brand is entering the TENAA database for certification.
According to MySmartPrice, the new Barbie phone will be similar to the Nokia 2660 Flip phone, but with a more vibrant pink color (of course), and a toy-like shell. The phone enters TENAA with model number TA-1681 and confirms LTE connectivity, hinting that a US release is definitely in the works. The lone photo shows a prominent Barbie branding, consistent with the HMD logo on the top and bottom display bezels.
The TA-1681 will feature a 2.8-inch TFT screen with VGA resolution, while the secondary display will be a 1.77-inch TFT panel. It will be powered by an unnamed single-core processor (possibly UNISOC), running at 1.05GHz frequency. The RAM is a feature phone standard of 64MB, and the internal storage is 128MB — thankfully expandable up to 32GB via a Micro SD card. There is also a single rear-facing camera with an LED flash, for those concerned about that.
