Nokia 3210 (2024) is officially launched

HMD Global has officially launched the Nokia 3210 following previous leaks by retailers and certification agencies. This announcement also commemorates the 25th anniversary since the device was first introduced.

Originally launched by Nokia in 1999, the Nokia 3210 (firmware code NSE-8) was designed by Alastair Curtis in Nokia’s Los Angeles Design Center. It was the first mass-market Nokia phone with an integrated antenna, which made it a desire for many folks around the globe (Mobilephone museum).

The Nokia 3210 from 2024 has been refreshed to meet modern requirements such as Bluetooth 5.0, 4G connectivity, a better screen, and a 2 MP camera. Additionally, HMD has introduced a Cloud Apps portal providing information on news, weather, and YouTube Shorts videos.

The device will be available in Y2K Gold and Scuba Blue, with a Grunge Black version expected to be released soon. The device’s body is slightly thinner and shorter but also wider compared to its 1999 predecessor (Nokia 3210 (1999): 123.8 x 50.5 x 16.7-22.5 mm).

The Nokia 3210 (2024) is expected to be available globally, including in the EU, Africa, India, the Middle East, and select countries in APAC. Prices will vary according to markets, but in Europe, it is anticipated to be around €80 (Germany/Spain 79.99€, UK £74.99). The device is already available in the mentioned markets which is great!
