Nokia 215 4G and Nokia 3210 are coming to China

HMD refreshed some of its older Nokia feature phone portfolio by bringing them up to date with USB-C ports. However, HMD also introduced some new devices like the Nokia 215 4G, which resembles the Nokia 105 but with added style and colour. Although I prefer the design of the Nokia 110 4G from 2021 (especially in yellow), the new Nokia 235, 225, and 215 4G also look appealing.

These devices are currently available in Europe, but HMD plans to introduce them to all major markets worldwide. One market where HMD has been notably successful with Nokia feature phones is China. Two devices are slated for release there, as revealed by the Chinese telecommunication agency Tenaa. Models TA-1617 and TA-1619 have been certified, but the accompanying documents did not include photos, leaving the identities of the devices slated for the Chinese market uncertain.

Now that the photos have been uploaded, it’s confirmed that TA-1617 is the Nokia 215 4G, a feature phone model without a camera. At the same time, TA-1619 is the newest addition to the Nokia Originals series, the Nokia 3210. The 3210 gold version has been tested, suggesting it may be available in stores there.

In addition to the Nokia 215 4G and Nokia 3210, China will also receive the new Nokia 220 4G, which was previously announced for the market. The announcement date for the Chinese market is unknown, but the Nokia 3210 should be announced globally in the coming days as revealed by Gigantti, suggesting its soon arrival in China too.
