Retailers reveal the new Nokia and HMD devices

HMD Global is planning to bring several devices to the market this summer. Back at MWC2024, the company announced that we would be seeing their own smartphone devices, devices that are a result of partnership, and some Nokia feature phones. Various dealer listings already reveal a total of eight upcoming devices, and HMD confirmed that the Nokia Original is a proper legend, the Nokia 3210. Retailers’ listings now confirm that the Nokia 3210 will be available as a 4G model, and we should see it in at least three color versions: Y2K Gold, Scuba Blue, and Grunge Black.

HMD is also planning to announce the 225 4G phone, which is the successor to the basic phone released in 2020. This device should be available in at least two colors: Pink and Dark Blue. Besides the 225 4G, HMD is ready to announce the Nokia 235 4G, which is a new feature phone. The phone is coming in Purple, Blue, and Black. HMD decided to revamp the Nokia feature phone lineup, so a new Nokia 110 is coming, but as a 4G version. It is not known what the 2024 version will bring, but it should be available in Nordic Blue color.

HMD is also planning on rebranding some of the existing Nokia devices, and the second one (Nokia C32 was the first if we count the M Kopa one) will be the Nokia T21 tablet that should be renamed to HMD T21. The hardware probably won’t change, but the colors could, since HMD is pushing different colors nowadays.

It seems that HMD’s Pulse will be the first device under the HMD brand. We should see HMD Pulse+ and HMD Pulse Pro. These names were leaked back in January, but it seems that the Pulse name won’t just be used for the development model but should also be used for the market. We should expect it sometime in July.

Retailers revealed that the HMD Pulse+ phone has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The screen is a classic 6.56 inches, and it should be coming with Android 14. So far, Midnight Blue is the only color option. HMD will also launch the Pulse Pro, which is also the 6 + 128 GB version. Besides the three colors, Twilight Purple, Black Ocean, and Glacier Green, the device will differ from the regular Plus version in other hardware options. The regular Pulse will have the T606 system chip developed by Unisoc, 4 or 8 gigabytes of RAM, and the Android 14 operating system.

The devices will be followed by the HMD Dual Port Wall Charger that should charge the phones with 30W. The charger will be coming in black for around 20 to 25 euros. According to the name, it will be able to charge two phones simultaneously but probably with just 15 W per single charger. The photos of all the devices are not yet available, except those pixelated ones HMD showed at the MWC2024 event.
