Nokia XR21, XR20 and G50 receiving new updates
Several Nokia devices received a new software update today. The Nokia XR21 received a new Android Build update, while the Nokia XR20 and Nokia G50 received the February security patch.
The update for the XR21 is labeled as V2.420, with a size ranging between 135 and 152 MB depending on the country variant. Interestingly, the update for my limited version XR21, made in Hungary, was slightly smaller than the one made by other ODMs. This new build brought the January 2024 security patch and some slight improvements to the camera app, as indicated by the version number jumping from 98.13.43402.10 to 98.13.50202.20.
I tested the camera but couldn’t notice anything drastically different, except that the night mode might have been slightly improved.
Both the Nokia XR20 and Nokia G50 received the February security patch, with similar sizes. The update for the XR20 was 97.93 MB, while the one for the G50 was 97.20 MB.
