Nokia XR21 already available in retail stores
|The Nokia XR21 was unveiled today and Nokia Mobile did a great job by making the device available from day one. Although the official pages and videos were not yet prepared when the embargo was lifted, the official pages are now fully updated and show the device and specs. The official announcement video of the rugged and rough X21 is also available.
The XR21 is already available in most European countries over the Nokia webshop, which is very commendable. Unfortunately, the black version is the only one shipping for now, while the more attractive Pine green colour will only be released in June.
The price is set at €599 in Germany, Austria, Spain, etc., but it is not the same everywhere. In Finland, you can order the XR21 for €549, which is about €50 less than in other EU markets and even less than the device’s price in the UK. Markets like Portugal, Poland and Croatia are yet to get it as well as Australia, USA and major African markets.
Nokia XR21 is not yet available in India, but at least Nokia is offering Nokia X30 for ₹36,990 which is OK.
The device is also available in retail stores, and you can get it in the Finnish Gigantti for the price listed in Nokia’s webshop. It is to be offered exclusively by JB Hi-Fi in Australia for 799 AUD, which is also cheaper than 599 euros.
There are some mixed feelings about this device, as the Nokia XR20 is better in terms of design and some features. However, it will be interesting to compare the two and the XR30 should win the duel as it is lighter, slightly smaller, more robust and has slightly improved hardware.
