Nokia promotes Nokia WiFi Beacon 10

Nokia announced its latest Beacon at MWC2023 (link) and is now promoting it on YouTube and other social platforms. The Beacon 10 is a Wi-Fi 6E tri-band gateway that offers the ability to connect to high-speed Internet up to 10 Gbps. The wireless connectivity supports a 2.5 Gbps LAN port and Wi-Fi has a capacity of AX10200.

As with previous Beacons, there is the option to expand Wi-Fi coverage by forming a mesh with up to five Beacon 10 devices. In addition, Beacon 10 supports Nokia’s WiFi app for easier home or office network setup.

Beacon 10 is a significant upgrade compared to Beacon 3, which was announced in 2019, and it slightly looks like an elongated Beacon 3. While Beacon 3 was a commercially available product, Beacon 10 will be offered probably only to partners who choose Nokia’s network solutions and products.

I’d love to test this product because I’m very satisfied with the Beacon 3, which works perfectly. But since Nokia is no longer in the consumer market, we’ll hardly be able to test this product or even find any tests online. I wonder why they even release these promotional videos then.
