Nokia G21 Hands-On video (in Russian)

The Russian Youtube channel The Tech Coach got his hands on the latest affordable smartphone from Nokia Mobile and did a nice hands-on. Although the presenter is speaking in Russian, the video does provide a nice hands-on of the G21.

Nokia Mobile used a new camera module design which looks like a generic ODM phone that many brands are using now, but generally, the body shape and colours are still Nokia like. The price of the G21 is set around 180€ and the phone brings a 50 MP camera module from Samsung, a 90 Hz refresh rate of 720p display, a large 5000 mAh battery and Unicos T606 octa-core 12nm processor which could prove to be the weakest point. However, the hands-on video shows that the phone performs well.

The main 8MP selfie camera looks fine for basic video calls and taking selfies during the day and the main camera seems to be producing rather well shots and videos. I could spot some transition effects while zooming in the video which will need to be smoothed out, but the overall photo quality is satisfying for the phone in this price range. It is nice to see OZO Audio being used here which will ensure that videos have great audio quality.
