The Nokia G11 and Nokia G21 is official!
|After yesterday’s report confirming Nokia G21’s availability on a major Russian retailer, Nokia Mobile has finally made the device official alongside the long-rumored Nokia G11. According to the press release, both of the phones excel in the battery department – thanks to the new Super Battery Saver Mode which Nokia Mobile has especially developed.
Aside from battery enhancements, Nokia Mobile highlights that both phones support twice as many security updates compared to the competition. With that said, both devices will come pre-loaded with ExpressVPN with a free 30-day trial. Spotify is also included in the package, although there is no telling whether the phones will come with a free 30-day subscription.
A first for Nokia Mobile, the Nokia G21 will be using a 90Hz IPS LCD display albeit only in HD+. There is no mention if the panel on the Nokia G11 will support a high refresh rate as well. As for the charging speed, Nokia Mobile is able to squeeze in support for an 18W charger, despite the phone only shipping with a 10W brick.
Furthermore, the Nokia G21 is equipped with a triple-camera array. The main camera is a new 50MP sensor, with two 2MP auxiliary cameras. According to Nokia Mobile, the new AI smarts will allow for clearer nighttime selfies, while an AI Super Resolution will help capture detailed digital zoom.
The Nokia G11 and Nokia G21 have a polycarbonate shell and will come with a clear case made from recycled materials. Just like the previous Nokia phones, both devices are recyclable when it reaches their end of life.
Apart from the smartphones, Nokia Mobile also introduced a new set of audio products. The Nokia Wireless Headphones and Nokia Wired Headphones come with 40mm drivers, and soft comfortable cushioning – with the wireless model delivering up to 62 hours of continuous usage on a single charge. There is also a new Nokia Go Earbuds2 + which features environmental noise cancellation (ENC), IPX4 sweat and splash resistant rating, 24-hour playtime, and Google Fast Pair for instant pairing. Finally, the Nokia Go Earbuds2 Pro features a low latency gaming and video mode.
