In this episode of Nostalgia, we take a look at one of the most innovative Nokia devices, and the device that put Windows Phone 8 on the map; The Lumia 920. Still one of my favourite flagships in terms of design too, you can check it out in its full glossy yellow glory in the video below.
How many flagships back then had:
Optical Image Stabilization (world’s first on a phone)
Best Lowlight images in its class
Best Video stabilization in its class
Best Audio recording in its class thanks to HAAC (Rich Recording)
Supersensitive touch (display worked with gloves)
Highest Refresh rate in its class (PureMotion HD+)
Unibody Polycarbonate body that doesn’t lose its colour
All of this, while being practically indestructible, as you can see from the condition of my Lumia 920, an 8+ year old phone that was dropped multiple times and never used with a case.
Imagine getting a modern flagship with that many firsts and bests, How would the media reception be?
Anyway, what did you think of the Lumia 920? Did you have one? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below 🙂
