Nokia C20 Plus debuts in India, Nokia XR20 launch confirmed
Today, Nokia Mobile made quite a few announcements for the Indian market. First of all, the company affirmed that the first 5G Nokia smartphone in the country will be the Nokia XR20. It means that the device will arrive before the Nokia X20 and Nokia X10, which will continue the absence of Nokia smartphones in the sub ₹20000 range for some more time.
Subsequently, the company stated that the Nokia C30, Nokia C20 Plus, Nokia G10, and Nokia C01 Plus are also heading to India. HMD Global has partnered with Jio to offer exclusive offers on these four phones as and when they become available. There is no word about the release date of the Nokia G10, but the Nokia C30 and Nokia C01 Plus will hit the shelves in the festive season.
Interestingly, the Indian variant of the Nokia C30 will operate on Android 11, unlike the global variant that comes with Android 11 Go.
Nokia Mobile also announced the immediate availability of the Nokia C20 Plus. The smartphone features a 6.5-inch HD+ display and a 4950 mAh battery promising a battery life of up to 2 days. At the back, it has a dual-camera setup consisting of an 8 MP primary shooter and a 2 MP depth sensor alongside the LED flash.
There is also a 5 MP front-facing camera. The phone is made out of polycarbonate and has passed 600 rigorous quality tests. Unisoc’s SC9863A platform, a 1.6 GHz octa-core processor, is coupled with Android 11 Go OS. Additionally, you will also get two years of security patches and a one-year replacement guarantee.
Nokia C20 Plus comes in two colours, Blue and Grey, and it is available through Nokia Mobile’s website, major retail shops, and select e-commerce platforms.

- 2/32 GB variant: ₹8999
- 3/32 GB variant: ₹9999
As a part of its new partnership with Jio, Nokia Mobile is offering both variants at discounted rates. The reduced price will be:
- 2/32 GB variant: ₹8099
- 3/32 GB variant: ₹8999
All you will have to do is register your device with a new or an existing Jio SIM card through the participating retail stores, including a Reliance Jio store or a Nokia store. You can also do it yourself using the MyJio application but within 15 days of activating the phone.
