Nokia G20 appears on Geekbench running Android 11
|Nokia G20 appears on the Geekbench database for the first time, just hours before the official #LoveTrustKeep event, revealing some of its key specifications.
The device first showed up last month on a Russian listing, alongside the Nokia C20. The initial listing was only able to show us the storage configuration, as well as a single color way of the device.
As for the Geekbench website, the Nokia G20 was able to score 148 in single-core test, and 939 in multi-core test. This is no surprise as the device will be powered by MediaTek MT6765, or most commonly known as Helio P35. At least, Nokia Mobile was able to set the base frequency of the chipset to at its full 2.30Ghz. This will be paired with 4GB of RAM, and most probably with 64GB of expandable storage.
The Mediatek Helio P35 was launched back in 2018, coming in as a slight improvement over the Helio P22. However, unlike the previous chipset, the Helio P35 supports up to Full HD+ display, and a couple of graphic enhancements. Regardless, it is almost the same 12nm chipset, with the same graphics processor.
There’s something in the air… can you feel it?

We don’t know what’s up with these plethora of budget and midrange devices from Nokia. However, it will be interesting to know how the company will be able to position each one of them on the ever-crowded Android market.
