Gizbot impressed with the #Nokia 3 [First impressions]

From the announced Nokia Android smartphone trio, the Nokia 3 seems to be the most neglected device, and that’s understandable. The Nokia 3 comes with lower-end specifications, like a 5-inch HD screen, 2GB RAM or MediaTek’s MTK 6737 processor, but for an affordable €139. The device also features a gorgeous design, with a metal frame, that reminds us of Lumia 925 and that’s a great thing.

Gizbot tells that they are pretty much “pleased” with the device, but they will give their final judgement after the review. They say predict that the device could be really competitive on the market with “not-so-poor specs at a low cost”. Check some segments of the review quoted down below.

“The phone is designed ergonomically with curved edges, which gives it a great looks, somewhat premium as well.”

“To speak about the display, the Nokia 3 has 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and is protected by a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass. With sharp and vibrant colors, it has a polarizing layer, which helps us to view the display clearly even on a sunny day.”

“If you are a kind of person who is behind an affordable camera phone, then this may be a suitable device for you because of its not-so-poor optics and an reasonable price attached to it.It features an 8MP camera on front and rear side accompanied by auto-focus and f/2.0 aperture value. When tested, we were able to capture vivid pictures with no distortions.”
“With a pleasing design, build quality, along with decent specs, it created a positive first impression on the handset.”

As noted above, Gizbot’s first thoughts about the 3 are positive, and good to see that they are satisfied with almost all elements of the device, including the camera. When we saw the 3 we expected the device to be well-designed and well-built for its class, but Gizbot says that the design is somewhat premium, and for a €139 device, that’s a well done job HMD did.
The Nokia 3, together with the 5, and 6, is expected to hit the market this month.
