Nokia 5.3 available in Brazil where it is also assembled
Nokia 5.3 is finally available in Brazil. The device will be offered by official retailers like Americanas.com, Magazine Luiza, Casas Bahia, Pontofrio, Pernambucanas, Carrefour, Mercado Livre, Amazon and offered by operator like Claro. Nokia 5.3 should be available online and in stores at the price of R$ 1,899.
Interestingly, it seems that Nokia 5.3 for the Brazilian market will be manufactured, or at least assembled, in Brazil by Multilaser Industrial SA, a local company that has over 30 years of experience i manufacturing and distributing of electronic equipment. This will definitely lower some costs of transport, and will serve as a nice starting point of Nokia Mobile’s South American expansion.
