Nokia Mobile teasing with Nokia C3 launch in India?

Nokia C3 is an affordable smartphone that Nokia Mobile launched in China at the beginning of August. The phone is announced in Sand Gold and Nordic Blue colors, and the hardware specifications are suitable for the affordable entry smartphone. The Nokia C3 is powered by an octa-core processor od yet unknown manufacturer.

On the front is a 5.99-inch HD+ display and a 5MP camera, while on the back you can find an 8MP camera with LED flash. The device has a 3040mAh battery and 5W charger in the box. The RAM is set at 3GB, with the internal storage being 32GB, but expandable via a MicroSD card. The phone also has FM Radio, headphone jack, Bluetooth 4.2, and supports 4G.

Now it seems that Nokia Mobile is planning on announcing Nokia C3 for the Indian market also. With India being a large market where people are eager to have a smartphone but also still be on the budget, Nokia C3 seems like an excellent choice for the Indian portfolio of Nokia smartphones. With the price in china of just 699 Chinese Yuan, the price in India could be rather competitive (7500 Rupees).

On the other hand, India also has the potential for more expensive phones like 7.3 or even 8.3 5G, so Nokia Mobile will also have to consider bringing more advanced phones to that market. This isn’t the first time Nokia Mobile announced the same phones for India and China, it was done before with Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus.

Anyway, having a portfolio that stretches from the most affordable to the most expensive phone is a good strategy for the countries with a large population and also a large variety in personal income.
