Nokia 8.3 5G Geekbench scores spotted, reveals it will come to the US

A new Nokia Mobile smartphone under the pseudo name ‘RiseAgainst_VZW’ showed up on Geekbench, to test its performance. However, the listing dates back to April 26. The device runs on Android 10 and ‘lito’ is mentioned as the motherboard, which is none other than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G (SD 765G) platform. And till now, HMD Global has announced only one device based on SD765G, which is the Nokia 8.3 5G

The interesting part is that the second part in the pseudo name is ‘VZW’, which could mean Verizon Wireless. Thus, we can probably say that Nokia 8.3 5G may come to the US via Verizon Wireless.

Nokia 8.3 5G is Nokia Mobile’s first 5G device, which was announced this year in March. Snapdragon 765G is built on 7nm process technology and comes with Adreno 620 GPU. The 6GB RAM (64GB ROM) variant was tested for the Geekbench scores. The multi-core score stands at 1701, while the single-core score stands at 601. Since these scores are about one and a half months old, we can expect it to get better before the device hits the stores around the world.

If we compare the score of Nokia 8.3 5G with the scores of the other Nokia 8 series phones and Nokia 9 PureView, the single-core score of Nokia 8.3 5G is the best. While the multi-core score is less than Nokia 9 PureView’s and Nokia 8 Sirocco’s score.

You can also see the score comparison of Nokia 8.3 5G and Xiaomi Redmi K30 5G (6GB, 64GB) below. Both of them have similar specifications, but not same.

These scores cannot always be conclusive, so it’s better to wait for a real review, maybe one from our side? 😉 Feel free to share your views in the comments section below.
