Nokia 7.2 gets a new Android 10 build with the April 2020 security update

Nokia 7.2 is now receiving a new Android 10 build V2.270 along with the April 2020 security update. Though a new Android build is coming along, the size of the update is only 9.13 MB, which is rather small. The update change-log mentions improved system stability, user interface enhancements, and Google security patch 2020-04.

When the Nokia 7.2 received the Android 10 update at the end of the last month, the users of the Dual-SIM Nokia 7.2 devices (TA-1196 or TA-1193) were not so happy, as their device would enter the recovery mode if one of the SIM cards was deactivated or disabled, and would not perform well. At that time the update was probably withheld by Nokia Mobile. Though a temporary solution was posted for that issue, this new Android 10 build is probably the real and the permanent solution for that issue.

Now, there’s a possibility that the users who didn’t receive the original Android 10 update yet, may receive it now together with the new build and April security update, and the update size may not be the same for all.

Do check if the update is available. Are you still facing the issue for the Dual-SIM device? Tell us in the comments. 😉
