Affordable Nokia TA-1233 passed the WiFi certification
|The New Nokia model TA-1233 got certified by the WiFi alliance. This phone model first showed up at the beginning of January 2020 when it was certified by BT SIG. The WiFi certification confirmed that this phone model is an affordable smartphone since it is supporting a 2.4G WiFi frequency. The phone was certified with Android 9, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that it will be coming to the market with that Android version. The certification also revealed that it has the same firmware version (Marlin2_17A_RLS1) as ZTE Blade A3 2020 and Nokia TA-1165 what reveals that the device will have a Unisoc processor, most probably SC9832E (28nm). Unfortunately, ZTE Blade A3 is still running Android 9 Pie, so this Nokia’s (super) affordable smartphone could be coming with it too.
So, next to Nokia 1.3, Nokia 5.3, Nokia 8.3, and a new XpressMusic like Nokia feature phone, we could be seeing an affordable smartphone with an Unisoc processor, which is probably intended for the emerging markets.
