Nokia cancelling their participation on MWC2020
The novel coronavirus outbreak is serious and if it spreads even more outside of China, it could easily cause the pandemic.Because of the spreading nature of this virus, many telco and smartphone manufacturing companies like TCL, LG, Ericsson, and others pulled out from MWC2020 that is planned to start on the 24th of February. Now Nokia published the official press release where they are also cancelling their participation to the MWC2020 in Barcelona to lower the health and safety risk of their employees and stakeholders.
instead of meeting customers and stakeholders at their booth in Barcelona, Nokia will be organizing a series of “Nokia Live” events directly to customers.
Now we have to wait for the GSMA meeting this Friday to see if the whole congress will be canceled, which is possible regarding the number of companies is dropping out.
