Rumor: Nokia Mobile testing the under-screen selfie camera on new Nokia 9 model
Nokia Anew, the reliable source of Nokia related news, tweeted again some details about the new version of Nokia 9. The latest rumor suggests that Nokia Mobile is experimenting with an under-screen selfie camera on the Nokia 9.1/9.2. They did mention in another tweet (from their iPhone hehe) that there are some problems with this solution since the camera is visible on the bright sun, and the photo it creates is still not 100% clear.

This means that this particular solution for the bezeless screen still needs to be perfected and that the announcement of the new Nokia 9(.2) might be at the end of 2020 as previous rumors suggested.
But, whatever turns out this is truly great news since Nokia Mobile is trying to create the flagship model with all the latest achievements in the mobile phone industry. After the rumor about the foldable Nokia phone already in the works, this one with an under-screen selfie camera doesn’t surprise me so much. Even though Oppo launched its first phone with the under-screen camera, the it still won’t be coming to the market. Xiaomi is also having problems with this solution, and I don’t think we’ll be seeing this kind of hardware used for the new Nokia 9, or the announcement will be postponed to 2021.
