New Nokia TA-1184 passed the FCC certification

Nokia TA-1184 has just popped up on FCC pages and revealed some details of the device. According to the revealed documents, TA-1184 is closely related to TA-1188 which passed the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) back in March.

The dimensions of this device are 145.96×70.56 mm which makes it smaller than Nokia 6.1 or even Nokia 5.1, but strangely smaller than the Nokia 4.2. According to the FCC document, the back cover should be removable together with the battery under which you can find the lable with important info printed on it. FCC documents also revealed that TA-1184 will be a dual SIM device, and have 3/32GB of memory which will be supplied by Kingston. The manufacturers of front facing and rear camera were also mentioned, but I couldn’t find the exact sensor size.

Here are the revealed specs:

Model: Wasp – TA-1184; TA-1188, TA-1183
Dimensions: 145.96×70.56
Connectivity: LTE, Dual SIM, WiFi, BT, FM Radio
Memory: 3/32GB Kingston
Battery: Removable

Well, it seems to me that HMD wants to add some company to the X71 for the global announcement. During MWC2019 we had a chance to see Nokia 1 Plus, Nokia 3.2, Nokia 4.2, and Nokia 9 Pureview, and we are still missing new Nokia 6, Nokia 5, Nokia 2, and also Nokia 1.2. Nokia 7 and Nokia 8 got their successors last years so this one could either be Nokia 1.1, Nokia 2.2 or Nokia 5.2, or even some specific Nokia device meant for some US operator. What are your thoughts about this device?
