Nokia TA-1016 and TA-1045 certified by FCC
|Two new HMD devices, or better to say a Single SIM and Dual SIM variant of a new device, passed the FCC certification process. This is the first time we see TA-1016 and TA-1045 model numbers coming up, and FCC revealed that the phone has a 3.5mm jack and a 3000mAh battery. Considering these two facts, TA-1016 and TA-1045 are most likely the global Single SIM and Dual SIM variants of the new Nokia 6 2018.
As we are nearing the first anniversary of announcement of Nokia 3 and 5 (and global 6), this device that passed FCC, considering the 3000mAh battery, could also be the second generation of Nokia 5. We didn’t hear anything about a second generation of Nokia 5, so the Nokia 6 2018 is more likely.
In a little more than a month, HMD Global will hold a press conference day before the official start of MWC where the company is expected to announce new Nokia Devices, possibly ranging from Nokia 1, across 6 to Nokia 9, and even Nokia 3310 4G and Asha phone were mentioned. HMD’s CPO Juho Sarvikas said that we will have an awesome MWC, so let’s wait and see.
