Nokia 2 and Nokia 1 receiving the January security update

Pure, secure and up to date! Not every word in this HMD’s slogan weights the same, especially if you are an owner of a Nokia 2. Well, the January security patch is available, but the Android Oreo update is still missing. Couldn’t find more info about the size of the update since Nokia 2 is no longer with us. If you have your Nokia 2 next to you, check if the update is available for your region, and be kind to verify in the comments if it is :).

Nokia 1 also started receiving the January security patch, even though the Nokia update tracker isn’t showing that. The update just brings the patch, nothing else is included in the 64 MB that your phone will download. Our Nokia 1 is not showing the signs of new update available. If you do own a cute Nokia 1, check if the update is available at your region.
